booking terms and conditions


A £5 deposit per person is required for Friday/Saturday (Jan-Oct) nights unless it is a special event, in which case deposits are £10 per person (Jan-Oct).
Christmas events (Nov/Dec) deposits are £10 per person. You have two weeks from booking to pay the required deposit.
Deposits paid are non-refundable. In certain circumstances, a transfer to a different date may be considered by the management.

Full balances for Christmas events are to be paid by the date noted in the Christmas Booking Form, usually in the 3rd week of November.

In the event of you cancelling all or some of your party, a refund will be available as follows:
* 1 week or over - just the deposit is lost.
* Less than 1 week - the deposit plus 50% of the balance.
* On the day of the event - no refunds will be made.

If The Hostess are unable to reach minimum numbers for any event, we reserve the option to offer you another date or a full refund of your deposit.

Group bookings (10+) - deposits for group bookings are payable as one sum, The Hostess are unable to process separate payments for individuals.
Refunds for group bookings will be made to the lead person on the booking and not individuals within that group.

The voucher features a unique reference ID code, may only be redeemed once, may not be exchanged for cash, replaced if lost and is non-transferable.
Please quote the gift voucher ID reference when reserving your table with the Hostess (using the contact details shown on the voucher).
The voucher is valid for one year from the date issued.
There will be no restriction to menus or dishes available unless where otherwise stated on individual terms and conditions.
Reproduction, sale or trade of a voucher is strictly prohibited.
Please bring the voucher with you at the time of redemption.
Date required is subject to availability.
Vouchers cannot be used for special events.
