Valentine's Day Menu


Valentine's Day is a 4 course silver served, full choice meal plus coffee. Priced at £30 per person. Orders taken 7.30-8.15pm. On Thursday 14th February 2019.

This year we are supplying live entertainment from Lee Hutton, who will be singing Bublé songs amongst others.

We do require a £10 per person deposit please.

2019 MENU

SMOKED SALMON ROULADE
our own freshly made roulade with oak smoked salmon wrapped around a cream cheese & herb filling topped with prawns and crab served with dressed leaves.
DUCK CROQUETTE
shredded duck with hoi sin encased in a croquette, cooked until golden accompanied with a hoi sin dip and prawn crackers.
MELON PLATTER
sliced honeydew and cantaloupe melon garnished with kiwi slices, fresh fruit and coulis.
DEEP FRIED BRIE
creamy brie fried until golden served with a spiced apple chutney.

HOSTESS LEEK, POTATO & CHIVE SOUP
served with bread roll and butter.

SIRLOIN OF BEEF
sliced & accompanied with a red wine gravy & herb Yorkshire pudding.
SCOTTISH HAKE SUPREME
wrapped in Prosciutto ham and accompanied with a chive butter sauce.
LAMB SHANK
cooked slowly and presented on a sweet potato mash with a rosemary scented gravy.
STUFFED CHICKEN BREAST
a tender chicken breast stuffed with brie and caramelised onion wrapped in bacon and served with a creamy mushroom sauce.
VEGETARIAN or VEGAN CHOICES
vegetarian options are also available.

STRAWBERRY PROFITEROLES
choux pastry buns filled with fresh cream topped with a rich Belgian chocolate sauce & fresh strawberries.
HOSTESS BAKEWELL TART
with almond biscuits and fresh cream.
BLACK CHERRY WAFFLES
a waffle topped with hot black cherries laced with kirsch topped with vanilla bean ice cream.
CRÈME BRULEE DUO
raspberry and peach crème brulee served with crispy almond biscuits.
CHEESE SELECTION
with assorted biscuits.

with a chocolate mint to finish.
